Chai Life Origin

I don’t know how many times I’ve created alternate realities in my head.

If I chose to pursue that job

If I made that move

If I connected with that person

If I took that opportunity

…And before you interject, no! I’m not saying I have regrets for where I am in life, because quite frankly it took everything that I’ve experienced and lived in this reality to get me to the place of wholeness where I now reside.

That being said, there are still many unearthed discoveries in my head, still many unopened boxes so to speak that I’ve left unexplored because I was okay…. At least that’s what I thought.

I realized that I kept saying within myself that if something, anything life shaking or drastic was to happen, I would then jump into gear and do all the things I know I had the ability to do, but haven’t because I was “safe” where I was.

This led me to ponder more about this so-called “safety”. What was it? Turns out after talking it out loud with my closest few that I was just too scared and too comfortable to venture out and test my limits.
Why create a stir where it wasn’t needed?

My retort to that is, “Well why create one only when you have no other choice?

From this emerged a new identity, literally rising out of the depths of my soul’s yearning to be free to express my deepest desires and truths in a way that I’ve always held back.

Chai Life was born.

Chai translating as “LIFE” in Hebrew and “TEA” in so many other translations. Literally, both are so interconnected to my identity, to where I am in this particular phase in my life, and in preparation of my 36th birthday just a month away…. A number which also has been symbolic for “double chai”, I feel like this aligns as a time to celebrate rebirth into my calling.

So here I am, in all my authenticity, uncertainty, sometimes sarcastic and truly optimistic form.

I bring alongside me, the RELLIM D Crew, who without, I wouldn’t approach life with the same sense of humour, thoughtfulness and curiosity. This is truly a celebration of the gift of life.

We’re going to talk health, wellness, food, sustainability, fun, technology and how to pass on the torch of what we’re learning about the world, down to the next generation.

I hope you’ll join us in our interesting journey
